Syntest Adds Key Execs to Its Business Development Staff; SUNNYVALE, Calif., Feb 8, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) - SynTest Technologies, Inc., an EDA company and supplier of DFT tools for IC designers and foundries, announced today that it has appointed Dr. Ravi Apte as its vice president of strategy and business development and that Nayan Pradhan has joined as senior account manager. These positions report to L.-T Wang, SynTest's president and CEO. SynTest's products
improve an electronic design's testability and fault coverage and result

Dr. Ravi Apte, managed engineering teams at chip-design and engineering houses, and was
an Engineering Group Director at Cadence Design Systems (NYSE:CDN). He
also held various engineering management positions at Hewlett-Packard
Co. (NYSE:HWP). He has been involved with the EDA and test industry for
over 25 years and holds a B.Tech. (EE) from IIT, Bombay and a Ph.D. from
SMU (Dallas, Texas). Prior to joining
